Elisa graduated from Edith Cowan University with First Class Honours and received the Clinical Excellence Award for achieving the highest scores across her practical placements in her third and fourth years. She was also honored with the Joan Fraser Memorial Prize for her commitment to working with Indigenous communities during her studies.

With strong clinical skills and a focus on developing therapeutic relationships, Elisa is passionate about providing neuro-affirming therapy tailored to the unique needs of each individual. She believes that therapy is most effective when carried over into the home, which is why she works closely with families to ensure continuity of care.

Over the years, Elisa has supported children and adults with disabilities across the lifespan in the Perth community, helping them overcome a wide variety of communication and swallowing difficulties. This has included speech and language disorders, neuro-degenerative conditions, traumatic brain injuries and developmental disorders. Her international experience includes providing therapy to school-aged children in The Netherlands in both Dutch and English.

As a multilingual professional, Elisa has a special interest in bilingual language assessment, ensuring that language differences are carefully considered. She has also completed Key Word Sign basic training and Sounds Write training to enhance her practice.
